The HG-1 is a high precision, portable humidity calibrator. Using Michell's Optidew Chilled Mirror instrument as the reference measuring instrument, humidity can be controlled across the range 2 to 95% RH (at room ambient operating temperature). The HG1 is configured to operate as a standalone calibrator or to operate from a dry compressed air supply enabling easy on-site calibrations. The front panel mounted flow-meters enable the mixing ratio of a dry and wet air stream to generate the required humidity. The chamber cover can be customized to suit the transmitters and sensors being calibrated.
The HG-10 is a completely automatic temperature and humidity calibration system which can be used to calibrate humidity sensors over a wide range of temperatures and humidities. PC control allows start, end values, ramp speeds and dwell times to be selected following which the system automatically tracks the desired humidity/temperature profile and records the measured and reference values.
(2) The PSD-Series is designed specifically for calibration applications. It utilizes two desiccant columns of molecular sieve and operates on the ‘pressure-swing’ principle. The columns are used alternately and a small quantity of dry air is bled from the in-service column to re-generate the line column. Moisture is absorbed at elevated pressure whilst re-generation occurs at atmospheric pressure, hence the term 'pressure-swing'. The columns are automatically switched on a two minute cycle. The PSD-2 dryer operates continuously and desiccant life is normally in excess of five years. Using oil-free compressed air at 7 barg the PSD-2 delivers up to 10 Nl/min of air at a dew point of better than -75ºC.
The OptiCal is a bench-top, fully self-contained humidity/ temperature calibrator. The system comprises humidity and temperature controlled chamber that can house up to five or more humidity sensors, depending on their physical dimensions. The humidity and temperature within the chamber are closed-loop controlled and continuously monitored by a precision chilled mirror reference hygrometer. The OptiCal works by time proportioning the flows of dry and saturated air according to the pre-selected relative humidity value. (2) The DCS is a dew-point calibration system designed for the calibration, verification and characterization of dew-point sensors, transmitters and instruments. The DCS system is a fully self-contained, calibration station capable of generating reference dew-point temperatures from -100ºC to +20ºC. Through customization the DCS system can be PC controlled for automated calibration sequences or manually operated at pre-determined dew-point set points.
